Beyond the Mainstream: “New innovators” Apps You Should Try

This week, I'm excited to talk about some of the most popular apps out there, as well as introduce you to a few newcomers and underrated gems that deserve your attention. While I may emphasize new or underrated apps, this doesn't mean popular apps aren't great. I just want people to try new things and decide what they prefer. We'll explore a variety of categories, such as productivity and finance. So, let's dive in and discover some fantastic apps that might just become your new favorites.

Financial Management: CRED Money & Fold Money

CRED has just introduced CRED Money, which is a central place to see all your financial behavior. Most of us who use credit cards in India are familiar with the CRED app and what it offers. What I like about CRED is that it's design-first, not just a utility app. I haven't tried CRED Money yet as it's invite-only.

This concept of tracking, analyzing, and reflecting on financial behavior isn't new. Fold Money, which I've been using for a while now, offers similar functionality. Many people might not be aware of this app, and I want to bring it to your attention because of its simple yet brilliant design and impressive features. Fold Money automatically categorizes your transactions, tracks your stocks and mutual funds, provides insightful charts, and even has a web app for added convenience. Check out both apps – I've included their launch videos below.

Linkedin vs. Peerlist: Showcase the true you!

Who doesn't know about LinkedIn! But do you know about Peerlist? LinkedIn feels so cluttered these days. I feel there are unnecessary notifications that I don't want to pay attention to, and I find few relevant posts other than what my connections are sharing. If this is something you're also feeling, you should try Peerlist.

The first thing you'll notice on Peerlist is your profile. With tons of options, you can truly showcase who you are to the world. Showcase your work from different platform, talk about yourself, or share your favorite books, podcasts, and videos. Craft a powerful profile that reflects your expertise and personality. It has a project section where you can lunch your side works or anything you want! So go ahead and checkout.

Chrome vs. Arc Browser: A Fresh Perspective

Chrome is a fantastic browser, but Arc offers a new approach. Once you get the hang of it, you might just love it! Arc boasts impressive features like Tidy Tabs for organized tab management, quick access tools, a built-in screenshot taker and editor, and automatic AI-powered file renaming upon download. These are just some of the highlights, but the true test is in the experience. Will you love it or hate it? Give it a try and find out!

We've already looked at the comparison between established apps and newer options. Now, let's take a look at a few more innovative apps.

Stable Money: No need to stress about comparing FD rates on different banking apps or branches. Stable Money gathers the best rates from various banks. You can easily set up a video KYC with your chosen bank for a smooth FD setup.

Stack: Feeling overwhelmed by stock market terminology but still want to invest your money? Stack is the perfect solution.

New.space: Looking for a quick and easy way to share large files, notes, or links? New.space is the one-stop website for you.

That’s it for this week I hope this gives you something new to try out and discover.
